The Gulf Coast with its westerly facing shoreline provides some of the best sunsets in the world. The waters, shallow and protected are also some of the warmest waters often reaching 80° F (26° C) in summertime and rarely drops below 65° in winter. The waters of are the treasure of our State and a great amount of attention and tension surround the care of these waters. It is a problem not just for Florida, but all States that surround the Gulf of Mexico.
